Legal and Compliance Services

Legal and Compliance Services provide a key function in the central academic administration of the University. It is responsible for:

• Oversight of the University’s constitution, governance framework and application (in conjunction with the Governance team in Vice Chancellor’s Office);
• Information Compliance (Data Protection, Records Management);
• The University’s Framework for Policy Document and Regulations Development/Management;
• Risk Management, Business Continuity and Incident Management;
• Handling matters of Student Contention (such as Complaints, Academic Appeals and Student Misconduct).
